Computer wizardry from Hollywood is to be used to help stroke and facial palsy patients to regain movement of their muscles.

Software that allowed Brad Pitt to become younger in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button will help patients to complete facial exercises without succumbing to distress about their condition.

Nearly 30,000 stroke victims a year suffer damage to their facial muscles and 7,000 people with Bell’s palsy are left with muscle weakness, causing major changes in their appearance.
